Hey 2013!

Year 2012 was a beautiful year that had so many surprises and changes in my life.. It started extremely slow then there was Osama and everything just happened! I got my first DSLR, Started my blog and had so much fun being a mom of TWO <3 that's the best part!

I'm SURE 2013 will be as good as 2012 and I can't wait to live the surprises that it holds for me and my little lovely family <3

My Goals for 2013 are:

1. Be more patient with the boys!
2. Eat Healthy.
3. Start an exercise routine.
4. Dive Deeper in the ocean of photography!
5. Practice more photo editing tricks!
6. Keep up the love of blogging.
7. Be HAPPY!
8. Breathe the early morning air X_X Get up at 6 am and stay awake!
9. Improve my handwriting! my handwriting starts good then turns into a doctor's prescription.LOL!
10. Help Ahmed hold the camera and take a proper photo!
11. Make this clock!
12. Balance my life!!

Unique Perspective

I've been busy lately but all what's in my mind is photography! Pretending that my eyes are my viewfinder and looking for things to shoot with my bare eyes I also focus on the TV Shows and try to figure out what settings they were using... I get inspired this way to think of different perspectives and make a plan of the things I want to shoot!

Surprise!

We had a little surprise birthday party for a cousin, it was great! I took  the traditional cake photo but wasn't happy with it. Everyone else was taking instgram photos at the same time so I tried to quickly capture one of the instgrams and got this beautiful photo. It's not just a cake, it gives an essence and feel of the time (instgram and smartphones) and the event!

It is really fun to look for different perspectives and the outcome - beautiful and unique photos - is worth it!

My Photography Story

The Start - I was four or five years old (can't remember!) my family use to take so.many. photos back in the film era. We have lots of albums and lots of beautiful memories <3... back to my story, we (my Parents, Grandma and Sister) were being photographed and a conversation started. Me: I want to take that photo! Give me the Camera (nagging). Dad: You don't know how to take a good photo. Me: I know! .... and it goes on! So I got to shoot for the first time. I couldn't wait for that film to be developed and see that photo. I finally got to see it, Guess what! It was diagonal and I cropped my Grandma's head x_x Make another Guess..... We still have the photo at my parents place!

Experiencing having two sick boys at the same time for the first time; taking two boys to the doctor and two sets of medicine </3 After 3 and a half years of medicine battle with Ahmed, he finally agrees to drink his medicine but we are starting a new battle with Osama! 

Last Week in a List

Hmmm... It was a busy week!

1. Had one of my wisdom teeth removed! (2nd time)
2. So many things at work, had to work with my swollen cheek!
3. Vaccinated Osama (6 months) :o
4. Signed up to a blog coding E-Course....Really Great!
5. Signed up to a photography workshop too!
6. Changed my blog banner and theme!!
7. Changed my blog archiving pages.... That was a big deal!

Hope you like the new look!! Still planning to do more things over here :D

Improve your Photography

Osama is half a year old!

On the 29th of November I celebrated his first six months... Half a year passed so quickly! He is still not crawling! I'm always looking forward for the crawling then the walking, can't wait!

Seeing my two darlings grow is the best gift in life.. The dose of love they give is that magic portion we see in fairy tales. I love them both so much it is hard to pick a special <3

A Day at the BEACH :D

Actually 2 days! so.much.fun. Fresh air, cool water, good food and happy kids <3 both the days were beautiful, cool weather and awesome company! The only thing is that little Osama got cold and he had a bad fever on the first night so I was so cautious on the second day (fully covered baby)!
I have taken so many beautiful photos but I haven't taken the parents approval to post.

Ahmed's National Day Celebrations

Celebrations for our 42nd National Day 18th of November still going on! Ahmed's school had a party today; the kids were dressed in traditional clothing and we were asked to share by providing the school with an  Omani dish (I had that in mind but forgot to :( ) 

Ahmed was really excited! He didn't trouble me in the morning as he always does. We took so many pictures before and after school which Ahmed didn't feel like!
