At the Beach - Part 1

Like any kid, Ahmed is a big fan of the beach :) Going to the beach is a fun activity for the kids and the mommy <3

I promised Ahmed at night that if he got up early we'll go the beach.. Well, he didn't as usual! I couldn't break his heart when he remembered, so I said:"Afternoon it is!" and he couldn't wait of course! Oh I LOVE this boy <3

At the beach Ahmed:
1. Makes sure that there aren't any fish that would bite him.
2. Throws sand far away, at mom and dad as well!
3. Jumps over the waves just like Mom did when she was at his age!
4. Splash some water!

So many things abut Ahmed remind me of myself <3

Stay tuned to see how Osama enjoyed at the beach in the second part of this photo share :)

B & A Soup with Lamb Strips

B & A??! Yeah.. Thats a shorter and more attractive name for Broccoli and Asparagus Soup with Lamb Strips!

I have a little story about Broccoli. I used to hate it. Well, three years ago I forced myself to eat it to pretend that I wasn't picky and I.Fell.In.Love! :s

I'm trying to eat more healthy so I got the idea of broccoli and asparagus for a change than our regular just broccoli soup :D

Ingredients:

1. One Broccoli.
2. Four sicks of Asparagus.
3. 200 grams of lamb.
4. One Onion.
5. Four cloves of Garlic.
6. Your choice of spices. I used Meat Spice Mix and Lemon and Black Pepper Mix.
7. Salt. If you're using a spice mix make sure it doesn't contain salt.

Steps:

1. Start by Adding the Spices to the meat. Make a Lamb Soup; in a deep sauce pan put about two spoons of cooking oil then add the Onions. When golden add the meat and garlic. Then add water (minimum 8 cups).

2. Use the Soup water to cook the broccoli and asparagus.

3. Use a blender to...Blend! I love my Multiquick!

4. Add the meat strips and let it cook for about five to ten minutes.

5. If you think its too thick then add water!

Osama Growing

It's amazing how time pass so quickly! It feels just like yesterday when I did my first indoor natural light studio set up for Osama in celebration of his 6th month.

He is 9 months now with two little teeth on his lower jaw and more to come on his upper.. I've been taking so much less photos of him with all the teething fever and the unstableness, that really breaks my heart </3 I feel sad when I don't keep so many memories of him. I really hope to be able to take more and more photos of him now that he is growing up..

Some of the things I miss about baby Osama is his spiky hair! I really love that and never tried all the older women advises to get rid of the spikes. I actually don't understand why someone wouldn't like spiky hair.. Its Just.So.Lovely.

I'm really looking forward to sharing his photos clapping (he already does) and his first steps!

Have a good time!
